NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short documentary film “The Unearthed Hollow” from India, DIRECTED by Ashay Sahasrabuddhe.

"THE UNEARTHED HOLLOW is a documentary film on adventure sport of caving. Though caving is not so popular in India, it is widely performed sport in many other countries. In simple words caving is an activity where caves are explored by adventure lovers out of curiosity. Through this documentary film, director of the film takes viewers on a thrilling cave exploration at the cave beneath Ratnadurga Fort in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. This adventure film also informs viewers about various aspects like equipment & techniques of caving, types of caves, life inside caves etc. which are associated with caves and caving activities. This film also sheds light on historical references of the particular cave as well as caving in India. 30 minute film is a chance to experience the cave like never before."
