NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short film “PADGHAM” from India, DIRECTED by Ratnakar Jadhav.

“PADGHAM” is a story of a small town which has multiple communities which lives peacefully. One day pujari from Hindu Temple and Moulavi from Mosque arise an issue about a road which is common for temple and Mosque. Their own fight disturbs the peace of whole town which results in partition of two separate communities i.e. Hindu and muslim eventually communal riots start in the town. Then after some unexpected things occur in the town 
which unites both communities forever. They forget the issue about the Mandir and Mosque and both communities show National Unity and National Integration to the world."
