NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short film “WOMEN RIGHTS ” from India, DIRECTED by RAJAT DIWAN.

"A short film on Women which projects that we need a safer INDIA where the women community can live free from abuse and fear!!!
Depicting four age groups of women, School child, College girl, corporate girl and housewife no age group is safe these days in India from being raped, tortured and molested. A strict action is needed for the criminals of this shameful crime to give justice to the victims and to prevent further crime to take place in India. A strict law should be applied against these acts so that people don’t dare to behave in this manner. Else the only solution left for the women in our society would be to change their appearance as men and move out of their house which is shown in this film. Which we definitely do not want. They have an equal right to feel free and move out without the scare of being raped or molested."
