NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short film "THE PROMISE" from India, DIRECTED by Anup Jatratkar.

"The Promise , is a story of a newly-wed who and her husband are very happy when they come to know about her pregnancy. But, from that moment, she is hallucinated with the appearance of a little girl. The girl keeps appearing in front of her now & then. The lady feels that she has got mad. But after meeting with the psychiatrist, she realizes the real reason behind her illusion and she decides to face the situation firmly."
