NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short film “DUA” from India, DIRECTED by Obayya.

"This film is based on transgender life of the people in the society. Where they treated only as sex workers. This short film express their character plays a main role, which is expressed in the form of visual language. How society in and around treats them. And this short film focuses the human qualities of transgender to save a person life, even though a person is not ready to have favor from him. And this short film express that transgender should not a but they have life like normal person, that has to be identified show a respect and privilege to them as human beings in all the ways to lead a normal life in a society"
