NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short animation film “ Swan Cake” from Switzerland, DIRECTED by Amos Sussigan & Nikitha Mannam.

"Swan Cake is the tale of a chubby little Parisian girl named Claire who works in the family bakery. However, she fantasizes about a life as a lithe and graceful Prima Ballerina. It takes all of Claire's grand imagination to make her realize that she can be a shining star on stage as well as a baker of the most delicious cakes. All it takes is learning to accept and embrace oneself."
