NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short Film “Sangeet Govind Gaurav" from India, Directed By Dhananjay Vasant Mehendale & Onkar Chandrakant Pradhan.

'Sangeet Govindgaurav' - This Documentary is based on the Musical Journey of senior Harmonium & Organ player Late Mr. Govindrao Patwardhan. It includes some rare photographs, videos of 'Sangeet Natak (Musical Indian Drama)' played by Govindrao & Interviews of artist for whom he played. Govindrao hailed from a small town in Konkan- Guhagar. He was a born artist. He had no proper training or 'Guru' (Teacher) in Indian classical music or Harmonium playing. This film throws light on some of his good work.
