NMIFF welcomes the entry of a Short Film “I can’t be mad at Allah” from India, Directed By Mohd Faisal.K.

Facing violent oppression for being Muslim, Afza and her family fled from State and Buddhist perpetrated violence in Burma. Described by the UN as “one of the most persecuted minorities in the world” and “Stateless” the Rohingya Muslims have been looking for a place that they can call home ever since. Despite this, Afza ‘s resilience is inspiring as she cares for her family in a makeshift slum on the edge of Delhi. But how long will it be before they have to move on once again?
