NMIFF welcomes the entry of a Animation Film “CHASNI” from INDIA, DIRECTED By Abhishek Verma.

"The film CHASNI deals with one of the most horrendous proliferating crime towards women known to be as Acid-Attacks. Post-attack it creates a mark in the form of Disfiguration (VIRUPAN) to the survivor, which has its traumatic effect on one being both physically and psychologically. The entire story is being conversed in the form of event & saying word poetry by one of the survivors, her post-attack experiences & the journey of facing day to day life with disfigurement."
