The Canary, a young pigeon thief from San Antonio de los Baños, divides his time between his wife, his baby, and his aspiration to become as respected as El Chacal and Daniel; two notorious pigeon thieves from the neighborhood. However, despite all his efforts to get his pigeons to the top, he fails in the attempt and ends up assuming his role as a father.
