NMIFF welcomes the entry of a Short film “Sharminda" from India, Directed By Vishal Srivastava.

Sharminda is a man's journey to understand a woman's journey in this society. His dream of a baby girl... eventually shatters with his wife being poisoned through absurd means making her barren forever. Moreover his own mother is responsible for the misdeed. He moves to the city hurt with the incident and pulls a rickshaw being the breadwinner of the family...City...gradually exposes some harsh realities and circumstances faced by women in this society. All this compels him to think if he as a human being is creepier than an insect. In the course he tries to find out as to who is at the guilt....and is ashamed of the answer to his queries.
