NMIFF welcomes the entry of a Feature Film “Bhagya” from India, Directed By Shekhawat Himmat.

Friendship. Angst. Conviction. Hope. Depicted through a story of two best friends, is an inspiring tale that deals with heart-touching emotions while highlighting the effect of illiteracy and poverty. Is a teenage kid who visits his best friend - a poor villager. Falls sick. A quick fix to the problem is a green leaf medicine, which turns out to be beyond its expiry date. The poison spreads in his body. His life is at stake. There’s no hope but is reluctant. He knows will be fine soon. He does everything he can and more to save. The mania escalates and saving life becomes a daunting task. But his determination is unmoved. Will he succeed?
