5th Banjara International Touring Film Festival welcomes the submission of Short Film STRANGER from INDIA directed by Arpit Jain
Synopsis: While driving one night, a man finds another man drunk and passed out on the road. As the story begins to unfold, it reveals that the protagonist is facing professional difficulties. The idea of an uncertain future has also soured his relationship with his father.
While being noble-intentioned, the film runs the danger of falling into the trap of whataboutery by showing the protagonist how better off he is in comparison to another less fortunate than him. However, for the viewer, the plot concludes with an attempted
sense of hope and the desire to never give up.
