Synopsis:"Next year we go into the water," says Per inside the cabin of his life's dream: a self-made sailing ship. With the "Bonavera" he wants to sail and proselytize. Bring seagrass insulation to where it is needed, to the Shetlands and through the Northwest Passage into the Bering Sea.
The ship is still unfinished, 14.5 meters up in a hangar made of plastic sheeting. Traveler rail, bow thruster, pivoting keel - the construction sites are no less. And when trying to trim the boat, friendship and marriage get out of balance.
"Tell the Wind I'll soon be there" is a film about radical self-realization. The way into isolation - or out to the open sea?
