3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of Feature film "Lost in the Living" from Germany, Directed by Robert Manson.

"Lost in the Living" is a story about Oisin, a musician from Dublin, travels to Berlin with his band, buzzing with the potential for adventure. He leaves behind the weight of losing his mother and an anger towards his absent father. Oisin meets Sabine, a pretty young Berliner, who shows him the secret places that belong to the people who live in the city; hot parks, uninhabited stations, and lakes in the countryside where the free body culture is still active. These pleasures are thrown into chaos when Sabine reveals that she has a boyfriend and the futility of Oisín's situation dawns on him. His band has left, he's lonely, homesick, homeless and broke. He embraces the darkness, tumbles through the void and out the other side.

3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of Student Shorts "Last Train Home" from Germany,Directed by Ansgar Glatt.

"Lost and Found" is a story about Boris, Christian and Emily. Boris loses it in the subway when he is asked for his ticket and then brutally assaults ticket inspector Christian. Christian sees his life dramatically altered by the attack. Boris' incarceration alone cannot correct what has happened. Also Emily struggles with the aftermath. No one wants to have anything to do with the sister of a thug. While she tries to deal with the consequences of the assault over which she had no control, Christian cannot forget what has happened to him. To take revenge on the imprisoned Boris he needs Emily. As she takes the last train home one night, Christian gets on the train. In this abandoned world under the city, Christian must show if he is as capable as his attacker…

"Lost and Found" is a story about the thoughts that are arising in the minds of Neil Goldman and Janek, What’s further? There or back again? Or maybe just standing still? These are questions that Neil Goldman, an aging travel book author from the USA, and Janek, a young Estonian emigrant, have to face the night before Christmas at Tallinn Airport. Their flight to New York gets bumped to the next morning due to a snow storm, and as they wait together, they discover that, although they are quite different from each other, they need to learn from the other’s characteristics in order to solve the major problems in their respective lives. They found out that it is never too late to make the right decision.

3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of Professional Shorts "Lottaleicht" from Germany, Directed by Stella Denis.

"Lottaleicht" is a story about Loota, who grew up in an alternative house community, comes home to visit her father, she blunders into an absurd wine banquet of her old house mates. During the evening she realizes that it is time for her to break free from the idealized images of her past.

3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of Student Shorts "Natural Attraction" from Germany, Directed by Marc Zimmermann.

"Natural Attraction" shows a natural spectacle, turning a sparse, dry landscape into a fruitful place bearing new life. The interplay between sky and earth reminds of a sensual love act to express the dependency and perfect correlation of both elements.
