But it is the worst nightmare when he realises on his returns that back home there’s a routine going on that he is not a part of. His family and loved ones are used to his absence and now are quite comfortable with it.It is true that that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but there is a thin line beyond which absence and distance can be disastrous and life altering.After being away from home in Australia for 5 years now, Hardeep decides to return back to his home… FOREVER… But on his return he realises that he is now a guest to his family and not a member of it who is been missed… His family and dear ones are used to his absence… Will Hardeep stay back home to become the member of his family or does he returns as the guests do? It tells about the art of making Ganpati Idols which has been originated, passed on to generations & its adaption as a contemporary art form. It comprehends the views of the idol sculptors (ganpati murtikars) on this art form & numerous months of efforts taken by them. Apart from idol making, the
documentary also talks about the traditional form of Ganpati Idol. It also includes some glimpses of the remarkable exuberance of the 11th day of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations."
