5th Banjara International Touring Film Festival welcomes the submission of  Short Film SOMMERNACHTSKINDER from Germany directed by Zara Demet Altan.

Synopsis:  Sommernachtskinder features students of high school children in Berlin, as characters in a love triangle. Both Ben and Ali are in love with Ada, and their struggle to get her attention leads to a big fight that involves the entire class. The parents are called to school by the teachers to discuss the events. Ada’s sister, Leyla, asks for help from the heavens to save Ada from their father’s punishment and to help Ben unite with Ada. God hears her prayers and orders a djinn and a fairy to help the children. After receiving a phone call from God, the djinn and the fairy try to help, but they mix things up and cause an even worse situation in this adaptation of Shakespeare’s Midsummer night's Dream.
