5th Banjara International Touring Film Festival welcomes the submission of Feature Film Sanatan Parampara: Kumbh from India directed by Amreetaa Roy
Synopsis: The nonfiction Documentary is about the Origin of Sanatan Dharm- The science and
Philosophies behind it and its manifestation in the greatest Congregation of Pilgrims in KUMBH 2019 in Prayagraj. The documentary features the Kumbh 2019 in detail, preparation and administration, and the Interviews of pilgrims from all over the world.
The documentary also features the untold story of the famous Naga Cult, various akhadas,
Female Nagas, and various Naga rituals in Kumbha that includes- Initiation of Naga,
Appointment of Mahants and Mahamandaleshwar as well as other cultural rituals as
Peshwai and grand farewell.
The documentary shows the grandeur, as well as the spirit of Devotion, unity, charity and
volunteering in various rituals by a large number of foreigners and Indians thus manifesting
the true spirit of Sanatan Dharma.
