"The Unfamiliar" a psycho-thriller short film about how everyday life turns into uncanny and familiar environments and people turn out to be completely the opposite. The protagonist in the film begins to notice certain changes in her environment over a period of time and she realizes eventually that it is actually something that is most familiar to her that ends up becoming uncanny and unfamiliar, something that she had least expected to happen.

"Her Son" is the journey of Gregor is a musician and dreamer. He likes his life - as long as he doesn’t have to explain himself to his mother Irène. Long ago he gave up hope of being more than a less well-off son for the successful gallerist one day. A radical deterioration of Irène’s health status is forcing Gregor to leave his mother's shadow and jump over his own.

The short film "FREEDOM & INDEPENDENCE" by Bjørn Melhus questions the current global ideological paradigm shifts towards new forms of religious capitalism by confronting ideas and quotes of the self-proclaimed objectivist philosopher and novelist Ayn Rand with evangelical contents of US-American mainstream movies. This contemporary fairy tale, in which Melhus performs all characters himself, was partly shot in a Berlin morgue and new urban environments in Istanbul.

"IRRLA3UFER" takes you through the journey of Tom.Tom lives a settled and relatively carefree life until he meets Peter again. Peter might be stupid but he's also dangerous, thus deep in Tom's memory. With Marie in tow, a girl who doesn't talk much, Peter moves in Tom's apartment for "a few days". Already one day after his arrival Peter confesses to Tom he needs a larger sum of money. Days go by. Peter and Marie spend most of their time in the apartment; Peter in front of the TV and Marie in the bedroom. One day Tom comes home after a bad day at work and learns about Peter's plan to get money he needs to settle the debts. Tom panics, he doesn't like it, the situation escalates and Peter violently reminds Tom who has the say. After that Tom seems powerless and he becomes the puppet of Peter's will, fear paralyzes him, makes him apathetic and easily irritable. When Marie tells Tom the details of her relationship with Peter, Tom realizes the terrifying truth about the course of the coming days. He faces a decision which will decide his fate.

"On the Beach" is the story of Laura and Clemens who spend their holidays at the sea in Northern Germany. Laura is bored and invents a game; she pretends to be blind. Over the course of a few days the couple gets entangled in their lie, revealing the emptiness of their relationship. In the end we see two young adults who will have to find a new way.

"The Run" is the story of a Teacher and a student. Martin is a teacher at a local high school. He thinks of himself as a good educator, but his own son begins to rebel against him. One day both drive to school together and get into a bad row over Bastian going on a camping vacation with his buddies. Soon after, Bastian's classmate Tom starts to shoot people in their school. Martin can stop the killing by volunteering to drive an escape car for Tom. During the escape, a harsh psychological duel begins between the teacher and the crazed student.

Inspired by true events which took place in Southern Germany in the winter of 1945,"The Problem of the Fastest Flight" tells the story of an engineer's harebrained scheme to build a manned rocket made of wood. Humorless scientist Erich Bachem meets young pilot Lothar Sieber when he is ordered to fly Bachem's rocket. Though the two initially regard each other with scorn, a father-son relationship soon emerges. When the Nazis push for a premature test launch, the young pilot loses his life in what proved to be the first manned vertical launch in history. An 80-year-old man, who at age 10 witnessed the events in the village, now attempts to recount the story, assembling the details from his own vague recollections. What emerges is a distorted, almost sentimental telling of a tragic story from an even more tragic time.

His daily routine is clocked through to perfection, he gives everything for his job, does sports and eats healthily. Actually, he's going to achieve everything of which most young people seem to dream, but under the surface his life and confidence begin to slowly slip away.

Social systems come and go, but people remain. Since Soviet times an old Ukrainian bus has been running along the outermost EU border. At the junction of this geo-political construct this old bus appears as fragile as the past itself. Will the bus come? Or not? Passengers wait patiently at the bus stop,and they dream that the bus will take them - perhaps to a better future, is being beautifully portrayed in the short film "BALAZHER - THE CORRECTIONS OF REALITY".

Somehow both of them come in contact with an honest and hardworking person, by the behavior of the honest person they feel guilty and change themselves.
