"Handi" is the story about a seven year old girl who comes from a middle class family, residing in Mumbai. Owing to her ill health, (Cardiac complications) she is unable to carry out day to day actives unlike other kids. She is confined to her house & is hence fascinated with the idea of celebrating the festival of ‘Janmashthami’ like other kids. Sensing her desire & her disappointment in being unable to fulfill it, her brother puts up a ‘Handi’, in the house.
