3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of a Professional Shorts "Dharm" from India, Directed by R.P. Sarkar.

"Dharm" is a story about group of five friends with different religion hindu, muslim, sikh and christian who plan for a picnic one day. While they were traveling they found one mute women on the side of the road and found that she couldn't talk. They took her to the hospital and after giving birth to a boy she died and all the friends took the responsibility of raising the child on their own but all people around started questioning about the young kids religion. But the boys never cared about what the society thought and raised the boy. One day while playing the boy got seriously injured and fell sick after a few days even he died, here is where the society started asking the boys again about the kids religion so that the funeral and rituals can be performed as per his religion. Here is where the religion was questioned again.
