3rd Navi Mumbai International Film Festival NMIFF-2016 welcomes the submission of a Short Film "DISSOCIATE" from Italy, Directed by Theja Rio.

"DISSOCIATE" is the story of a mentally unstable person 'Roy'. Roy is standing in front of a shattered glass door, looking out. A man walks past the glass door outside and  from a distance the two share a glance.The doctor comes inside the house and Roy and the Dr. meet. A few exchanged glances and the Doctor hands Roy a knife stating 'This will cure you'. Roy exits the room and cry of anguish could be heard from the other room. Roy appears to be stabbing someone and leaves the body of the victim on the floor,  but Dr. Scheiffer is nowhere in sight.Dr Scheiffer's bag and hat remains on the table. Roy re-enters the room, but has now appeared to have stabbed himself. Roy is heavily injured and is barely walking and later starts crawling. The body that Roy seemed to have stabbed awhile ago is no where in sight as a struggling Roy crawls away in anguish and pain.
