NMIFF welcomes the entry of a short film "Punorutthan-A Resurrection" from India , DIRECTED by Shubhayan Sarkar.

"Debraj Dutta, with his cousin Avro, travels to Nawabganj to visit a Christmas gathering. What was meant to be a joyous meet turns into a mysterious event as the master of the house dies that night under the influence of a curse. Debraj Dutta takes it upon himself to follow in the footsteps of his idol, the iconic bengali detective Feluda, a character created by Satyajit Ray, to solve the mystery."
