4th Banjara International Film Festival welcomes the submission of Professional Short "Maharajin" from India, directed by Darpan Bajaj.

Synopsis: In a religion (Hinduism) where women are forbidden from entering the cremations grounds, Gulab Maharajin performed Cremations for over more than 60 years at Rasoolabad Ghat, Allahabad. This Film introduces her life through the eyes of poets, thinkers, priests and her own son. How the idea of a lady being a cremator has changed their perspectives towards death, life and religion.
