4th Banjara International Film Festival welcomes the submission of Feature Film "The Long Lifers of Lerik" from Azerbaijan, directed by Maria Ibrahimova.

Synopsis: High in the mountains of Azerbaijan live a people renowned for their longevity. They are called “long-lifers”, and some have attained legendary status. This poetic year-in-the-life portrait traces Azerbaijan's history through the eyes of three of these elders and their families, revealing a vanishing way of life but also the persistence and beauty of local culture and tradition.
