3rd NMIFF 2016 welcomes the submission of a short film “ Act-3 " from India, Directed by Siddharth chankya dhakre.
“When you act, it shouldn’t appear that you are acting.” That’s what his best friend used to tell him, every time he would perform.Act 3 follows the events in the life of brothers who eat, sleep and live theater performances day in, day out. It puts across the perplexity that rejection brings, in an artist’s life and how sacrificing their life can be, when things don’t go as planned. The twisted and edgy narrative explores those dark spaces where a creative individual’s life can reach, when the passion is no longer channelized.
